Groovy Shoes to Perform on April 4th

Groovy Shoes is Tom Kuhn and Dave Cofell, who, along with their vocal harmonies, bring together a collection of instruments that may include at any given performance: Alto, Tenor and Baritone Saxophones, Flute, 6 & 12 String Guitars, Accordion, Banjo, Mandolin, Tambourine, Bass Ukulele, Vibra-slap (and various other percussion instruments), Kazoo, Megaphone, and Harmonica.

The duo’s repertoire includes their own arrangements of songs from various styles including Folk, Blues, Country, Rock, R&B, Pop, Classical and a few Originals. Together, Tom and Dave fuse these into a genre they call “Broad Spectrum Americana,” which basically means that they can (and do!) play whatever the heck they want to. Also check out the shoes!

There is no charge for this event. Donations will be graciously accepted. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and the show will begin at 7:00 p.m. Feel free to bring a treat to share at intermission. Beverages will be provided.
