Ruth Hanson’s “Outlooks”

Artist Reception 10 a.m. to Noon today!

“Outlooks”, an exhibit by visual artist, Ruth Hanson of Vining, is featured in the Evansville Art Center Gallery November 3 through November 25.

Having grown up on a small Minnesota dairy farm, Ruth is influenced by nature and farm life.  Since earning a degree in Art Education from MSU Moorhead, she has studied and taught many different forms and techniques of Art.

 Ruth works in Oil Pastel, Watercolor and Gauche.  Most recently she has been enjoying working in Watercolor Batik on rice paper. Ruth has had an interest in Calligraphy for most of her life, and has found that it  works well with using her paintings in greeting cards.  She feels artwork is an adventure!

Gallery hours are Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Stop in to view the varied techniques displayed in “Outlooks”. Ruth will also have greeting cards available.
