ParaDocx to perform on First Friday

John Emblom and Bill Glade, performing as ParaDocx, will appear on the Evansville Art Center stage on Friday, October 2 as part of the First Friday Concert Series.

John Emblom and Bill Glade are retired Alexandria area physicians. They started playing music together 4 years ago, found the groove and have played multiple gigs and locations since that time. They combine vocal harmony with acoustic and electric guitar. Music genres include country, light rock and pop.

John and Bill have played guitar and sang since their youth but had to retire to devote more time to musical pursuits. They cut their musical teeth on area open mics before moving on to professional settings. They are regulars at Willy T’s, Palmer House (Sauk Center), and have also played  Gathered Oaks event center, Douglas County Fair, Alexandria’s Saturday Art Market, Evansville, MN’s first Friday, several events in Brandon, MN; several weddings, Alexandria Senior center, Knute Nelson care center, and several private parties.

There is no charge for this event; donations are always gratefully accepted. Feel free to bring a treat to share at intermission, if you wish. Beverages will be provided.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and ParaDocx will take the stage at 7:00 p.m.

ParaDocx will also be playing as part of EAC’s Fall Festival Fundraiser
