Sellin Music Company will perform at Evansville Art Center on Friday, July 12 at 7:00 p.m.
This family music group got its start in 2009, when Tom Sellin began performing with granddaughter Ellie Wallace (AKA Sellin & Wallace). Sellin’s daughter Shari Rolin and granddaughter Marisa Rousu joined the group in 2014. Grandson Hayden Wallace has become a regular performer with the group, and several other grandchildren make occasional appearances with the group as well.
Sellin Music uses unique family vocal harmony accompanied by 6 and 12 string guitars, and an occasional Mandolin, Ukulele, Harmonica or Keyboard.
Genres include a balanced mix of modern and classic country, pop and country gospel. Their growing playlist includes a wide range of music from many different eras as well as some current top 40 Country Music as well.
Expect to hear a mix of fun music along with inspirational and gospel songs with much deeper meaning; perhaps some songs you have not heard in a long time. Come prepared to tap your toes and sing along!
There is no charge for this event; donations gratefully accepted. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the show will begin at 7:00 p.m. Feel free to bring a treat to share at intermission. Beverages will be provided. Evansville Art Center is handicap accessible.
