Photography Club Opens EAC Gallery for 2024

The Evansville Arts Coalition invites all area photographers to participate in the Photo Club’s annual Photography Exhibit which will re-open the Evansville Art Center Gallery for the 2024 season. This exhibit will run from March 8 through April 27, 2024,  with Gallery hours from 10:00 a.m.—2:00 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. There will be a Meet and Greet for all family and friends on Saturday, March 16 during regular Gallery hours.

 Guidelines for a Great Display

What You Need to Know

-    Each photo exhibited must be framed and/or ready for wall hanging. Photos must be at least 5x7 inches and not more than 16x20 inches in size, including frame.

-       Each artist may exhibit a maximum of five (5) photos that have not been in any prior EAC exhibit.

-       The photographs may be of any subject, black and white or color. The artist must have taken photos.

-        EAC Photo club will determine if photographs are appropriate for all audiences and will hang the display.

-       Photos may be for sale. Artist determines price; EAC retains only a 15% commission per sale. Please put name, phone number and price, if for sale, on back of each photo.

Participate and Learn More!

The exhibit will be hung during the March 7 Photo Club meeting where all participating photographers are encouraged to join us and are reminded to bring a hammer. Area photographers are also invited to attend the monthly Photo Club meetings. They are held on the first Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at Evansville Art Center. The building is handicapped accessible.
