Annual Poetry Night

Evansville Art Center is hosting our Annual Poetry Night on Thursday, April 24 from 7-9 pm. Begun in 1996, it is believed to be the longest running literary event in West Central Minnesota.

If you are a poet, if you love poetry, or if you just like to listen to poetry, come and join us for this event.  Present your original poems, poems that move you, or just come to enjoy. Poets of all ages and stages are welcome. 

Studies have shown that poetry causes the part of the brain that activates during daydreaming to light up when reading or listening to poetry.

Bring a treat to share at intermission if you like.  Beverages will be provided. This is a free event.  Donations to support Evansville Art Center gratefully accepted.
