Who is Brittany Koep?

Brittany is a talented young photographer who just graduated at the end of the 2020 Socially Distanced School year from the Brandon-Evansville High School.

This is Brittany’s Senior Art Show! Three of the pieces featured here scored with high marks at the Regional Area High School League Arts Show in Fergus Falls, MN. Brittany is sticking close to the community and continuing her education as an artist at the Alexandria Technical College in the fall.

Why Photography?

“For me art has always been the way I express myself and photography was a form of art that really stood out to me. I started taking photos of my brother at all his sporting games and soon it moved to photo shoots with my friends,” Brittany recalls how she got into the art form of photography.

But why did she ultimately choose photography as her art? “I like to capture happiness with my photography and a sense of joy, although not all my photos are about emotions,” she explains. “A lot of my photos are inspired by bigger photographers. I like to see variety and seek out new ideas looking through other artists’ photos.”
